Best Mother of the Bride Dress!

"I just want to share that I wore this dress for my daughter’s wedding on Friday, April 17. It fit perfectly and I felt confident as the Mother of the Bride. Best Dress I've Found in all these Years - Got 7

"Love this dress so much. Extremely flattering. I never write reviews anywhere but I felt this dress needed an amazing review because I want your company to keep making it. I get compliments left and right, every time I wear one of the 3 prints I purchased. I finally found a dress that has pretty much everything I always look for in plus size dresses. It’s long enough so you don’t show off your bottom when you bend over. I truly can’t understand why plus size companies typically make their dresses so short. Shorter people can go to a tailor and have their dress hemmed. Taller people can’t make their dresses longer. And when you are plus size, dresses usually end up falling shorter on your body than you can anticipate. So please continue to make your dresses this length every time, and it’s a win-win for everyone. Absolutely adore that there is double layer polyester so it’s not clingy and isn’t see through. Cute sleeves that are long enough to cover the excess arm chub that I don’t like to show off. Why are so many plus size dresses sleeveless? It is the bane of my existence. You have some actual cute prints and solids - especially love the black, the green, and the midnight peony that I purchased. So often, plus size dresses are made in these old antiquated looking patterns or are too young and cutesy. I’m not going to purchase this dress in the potted plant print (way too cutesy) or the black floral print (too mature). But you gave us a variety, so I still had 3 other print choices and I bought them all. This dress is one of the rare few in plus sizing that doesn’t cut off your middle with a defined waist. Babydoll style and empire waist dresses and cross-over dresses that tie at the side are really unflattering for a lot of us. I’m glad to see that this dress exists. But it stands out as one of the only shift type dresses on your site, or on any site with plus size women’s clothing. The only thing I would say about the fabric is that it is silky smooth and doesn’t get little balls - but only on the midnight peony dress. The black and green colors have a somewhat different fabric - almost like crepey polyester - and I dont like this as much. After 3 washes, the black was already looking a little worn down and pilling all over. And the green fabric stains easily and is hard to get the stains out of this fabric. Even if I get plain water on the green fabric, the stain will sit there all day until it can be washed. For $128, this is pretty ridiculous. Still, these dresses are 5 stars for me. Next time, please make all the dresses in the non-crepey fabric that you used for the amazing midnight peony print. This style would be awesome as a tunic too. And it would also be great to have different necklines. I took some of these dresses to the tailor and made them into tunics myself. And I changed the neckline on some of them to scoop necks and Vnecks for a more youthful appearance. In total, I bought 7 of these from here and Nordstrom. It required very little trimming at the tailor to make some of them into the perfect length tunic to wear with leggings. This way, I have been able to wear some of them to work, some to parties and events, and then I have some that can be worn on the weekends, doing errands and hanging around. This is the best dress I’ve ever purchased in the plus size department. Please continue to make more of them in different prints!"
