"I really lived the cut & fit of this dress. I’m 5’2”, 180lbs and everything looked and felt great. I o had to have a few inches taken off the bottom but I have to do that for all full length dresses. I only deducted a star because I was literally a waking glitter bomb! Everything and everyone I touched was covered in glitter. Chairs, tablecloths, napkins, people…all coated in red glitter."

"I bought the navy dress last year, and bought the black one this year for a black and white gala! Loads of compliments both years! The fabric of the dress is a nice weight that does not overheat and drapes beautifully, and the design is flattering for my very plus-size figure. I wore both dresses with Tieks flats, so they were a smidge long on me (5'6"ish) but not to the point that it prevented me from walking. Might be back for the red one next year . . . 🤔"

You’re not wrong, this particular style does shed more sparkle than we’d like, which is why we’ve paused production and are actively re-fabricating it. In the meantime, gently releasing any loose glitter before wearing (we recommend doing this outdoors) can help minimize shedding. Our customers love this design - just not the glitter bomb 😉 and we truly appreciate you calling this out. We’ll be reaching out via email as we’d love to make you a new one.
- How glittery is this dress? I'm going to a black tie wedding that starts at 4:30 and I don't want to be too glittery for the occasion.
- This dress does have quite a bit of sparkle - it catches the light beautifully and will definitely stand out in a crowd. If you’d prefer something a little more understated for your 4:30 black-tie wedding, we’d recommend our Evening Romance Gown. It has the same elegant silhouette but without the glitter and comes in Black and Magenta. Another gorgeous option with plenty of drama (but no glitter) is the Veronica Ruffled Evening Gown. - Does this dress run generous or TTS? I think I need a 1X in the bust, but you do not have it in midnight star. Trying to decide if I should size up or down.

- Hi Geneva! Yes, absolutely! The Romanced By Moonlight would be perfect for the mother of the groom. There are no buttons or zippers on our garments, so everything is pull over style. We have a good amount of stretch in all of our merchandise for this reason. This dress is very comfortable!
