"I tried on dozens of dresses from different brands and stores for my son's wedding last year. This dress, in Navy, was the one I kept coming back to and wore. I'm 4'10 so I liked that it was tea length on me. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because we had to put a stitch in the v-neck, otherwise it would have been too low."

- Thank you for your question! There is no zip closure on this dress. This is a pullover style.
- Is the Mademoiselle Lace Dress easily altered? I think I'm in between sizes.
- Hi Karen, The Mademoiselle could be altered at the side seams. However, the fabric on both the lace and lining has significant stretch so hopefully you don't have to alter. If you order one size and want to exchange it, just send it back and indicate the optional size you'd like and we'll take care of it! Thanks!

- I bought this mademoiselle blue lace cocktail dress. Care instruction says dry clean. Will I be able to do hand wash?
- Thank you for your question! Yes, you can safely hand wash the garment in cold water with gentle detergent. You can then lay the garment on a towel and roll with it inside to gently squeeze out any excess water. Repeat this a few times until the garment is no longer dripping water. Then lay flat to dry. Hope this helps!
- Hi there! On the size chart, it says that the waist for the 2X size is 42.5-46, but in the details tab below, it says: "2x waistband measures approximately 40" around, relaxed." Is the waistband on this dress right below the bust? I see a band right there, but I wanted to be sure. And one more question - I'm not wide-set, but I have a large stomach. Will an A-Line skirt flatter that?
- Our Mademoiselle is a very classy A line dress. The band does hit just under the bust then it flows nicely over the stomach. It isn't too fitted so you should feel wonderful, comfortable and confident!
