Love this dress! I thought the empire waist had a band or belt but I'm now not sure...is this dress flattering for hiding tummy (I have a hernia) enough...don't want too fitted or too big either that you look heavier...I'm hoping in 2 weeks it's still in stock when I'm able to purchase it!

Hi Dawn - We're happy to hear you love this dress! It is definitely on of our faves as well. This gown technically has no give as the fabric is non-stretch. Where the "give" comes in is the elastic waistband. Because this gown was designed with an empire waist, the silhouette should naturally cover your tummy area while the branches/floral pattern's vertical position provide a flattering look. Our pattern maker has recommended that you may want to size up from your usual size. Since the dress has a dolman sleeve, this will not affect your fit at the bodice and may give you a more comfortable fit around the tummy area. If you're looking for more of a defined empire waistband, I would recommend the Leona Lace Gown, Maria Lace Evening Gown, Paris Pleated Evening Gown or Verona Velvet Evening Gown. Granted all of these other options are not of the embroidered fabric but they do feature a more defined empire waistband and an A-line skirt hiding the tummy area. Hi MaryAnn, the Embroidered Elegance is a gorgeous gown. The fit is true to size but doesn't have a lot of stretch so if you are in between sizes, you might want to go up or down depending.

I have been trying to find out where my order is. I received an email that one of the dresses wasn't available after I placed my order. (which how does this happen) I emailed back to just send my order on that I didn't have time then to look for another dress. I haven't received any info back at all on the rest of my order. I have also tried Live Chat and no one is answering but it says its live.
