    "The I got this dress in the Navy as an option for a special event. (I went wore the other dress because this one felt too formal for the evening. ) I was worried that the lace would be scratchy, but it’s soft. It is a beautiful dress and the neckline and sleeves are elegant. I was hoping the color would be more like the teal color of the photos, but it is a true navy. I took one star off because I didn’t love the way the back looks on me—it’s flat, which I get is the point for the silhouette of the dress, but it wasn’t for me. I kept the dress because I got it on a great sale and it really is beautiful."

    Did not arrive on time

    "Dress not so bad, delivery service to HONGKONG so bad. Ordered on the 10th of January, got it on the 26th. Kiyona kept saying on the way… did not even investigate for me. The dress only left US on the 21st of Jan. I founfd a way to track my clothes eventually, Kiyona could not even track for me. I was very disappointed with the service as delivery should also within your scope. You cannot say it is out of your hands. . it is your responsibility until i get my dress. In the end they refunded the delivery charge to me. Quite pointless now as the event is over and the dress did not come on time. in the end, I could not wear it anymore… I am now stuck with a dress that i could not use and will have to pay for return."

    Lovely and so very comfortable

    "Loved it! Af first I groaned at our invite to an evening formal wedding. As a size 20 at 5'3", it is sooo hard to find a flattering, comfortable dress. This one immediately caught my eye, and I'm very glad I bought it. My seamstress hemmed it - as always! She was also able to put a tuck above the high waistline so the lace bodice lay flat up to the neckline. I had a cubic zirconia and pearl lariat necklace, dangly earrings and lots of bracelets to add the final touches. The fabric was supple and light and flowed easily. The pockets were a lovely surprise - very handy for a tissue or lipstick. It is the most comfortable dress I have! Don't overthink this, ladies - get it!!"

    Black tie dress

    "This was my first purchase from Kiyonna. My daughter needed a formal gown for a black tie wedding. I ordered the first size for her and it was delivered quickly. The size ordered was too small so I called customer service and they quickly sent another size plus a second choice dress color if the first choice color did not fit. They also provided free shipping and free returns on all my purchases. The new size was a perfect fit. An added bonus was the dress was on sale. This company has a first class customer service group. I called several times and every person was aware of my order and could answer my questions. I will be buying more merchandise from this first class store in the future I highly recommend to everyone buying clothing from Kiyonna especially if you need a plus size formal dress.     Perfect In All Ways

    "Very comfortable fit. Lace overlay is soft. Pockets a plus. Most long gowns are either sleeveless or long sleeved. Sleeve length perfect. The way the scalloped lace hem is attached made it easy for tailor to shorten length. I had many compliments on this dress. Working with Customer Support on this order was a pleasant experience. Kiyonna is going to be my new favorite!"

    I need a dress for July 1, in gray. Do you have any dresses for hot weather in gray and not floor length? Thank you for your help.
    Hi Darlene - Thank you for your question! Unfortunately we do not currently offer any grey dresses that isn't floor length. But that is a great suggestion that I will pass along to our design team. More grey options in midi length are a must!
    I noticed one of the reviewers was planning on using the cut off length of lace to widen the sleeves for a less fitted look. Is this feasible? I am only 5 ft, so I imagine there will be plenty of material to work with.
    Hi Maureen, I think it is totally feasible. It would just depend on how your seamstress can cut the length and alter the sleeves to your liking. Let us know how it turns out! Take care.
    Is this dress able to be hemmed? I am 5’4” and according to size chart I will be ordering 1X. What is the length measurement of this dress? I always have to have everything hemmed. It looks like the hem is detailed, how is it hemmed to keep that detail? Thank you
    Hi there, 2X length measures approximately 60" from high point shoulder hem. The bottom scallop is added on separately. so you can cut off the length you need from the main skirt then re-attach the scallop. Hope this helps!

    Hi there, that is a great question. We were working on a petite line before the pandemic and are currently back at it with some of our best sellers. Keep on the lookout for petite sizing coming soon. Also, if you let us know which styles you are looking for in petite, we can most certainly try to make them happen in the future.
    I love the look of this dress for my son's wedding! I am 6' tall with a high waist. Probably a 4 or 5X and I am worried about the length. Most of my height comes from my legs. Will this dress be long enough?

Below are some length details which might help your decision: - 2X waistband measures approximately 40" around, relaxed - 2X length measures approximately 60" from high point shoulder hem. Each size varies in length to accommodate the size differences. If you can, take a few measurements to see if you are within a few inches per size and we can always measure on our end to help out.     I love everything about this dress....except the length. What is your opinion about having it altered to knee length. Long is too formal.

    Will you be getting this dress in a navy 3X any time soon?
    We will be getting a delivery of this gown in Navy around mid-July. At the beginning of July, this gown will be available for pre-sale so that you can reserve your dress.
    Would this dress accomodate a growing baby belly? Is the material and waistband stretchy?
    Hi Amber! Yes, all of our merchandise has a great amount of stretch. We don't use buttons or zippers on any of our garments, so they are all pull over style.
    I see that there’s preorders for the black Leona in size 2X. What about Pinot noir size 2X? When will that be available?

    I really want/need this dress for a wedding but need it in Pinot noir size (2X) by October 2018. Any chance of that?
