From its humble beginnings out of Founder Kim Khanbeigi’s apartment in Los Angeles, KIYONNA has evolved to become one of the premier boutique collections of plus size clothing on the market today. The Spring 1997 Collection debuted in Vegas in 1996 and won the hearts of specialty boutique owners from all over the country. With the evolution of ecommerce, the company launched www.kiyonna.com in 1999 where a devote customer base could now shop KIYONNA’S array of stylish cocktail dresses, signature lace frocks, chic separates, swim and bridal. Today, the company partners with retailers like Amazon and Lane Bryant and premiers new styles weekly.
Since inception, KIYONNA has supported the local economy and its family of sewing contractors by committing 100% of all production to be made in the USA. With factories in Westminster, Santa Ana, and Los Angeles, KIYONNA keeps a close eye on its production and quality. Keeping production local also allows the company to bring new product to market each week and quickly respond to consumer demand.
