so im not a dressy gal. every function i go to that requires a bit more fancy attire, i still often opt for pants. i have an evening wedding this summer and knew i couldnt just go with my standby, so i thought id try this dress in black (all of kiyonna's dresses are gorgeous, but it was on super sale!!). holy crap! this dress is amazing. i actually look *good*. i usually wear a size 20-22 pants, 18-20 top, and so i ordered the size 18-20 in this dress. despite that it was rather long (truth is, im rather short: 5'5"), it looked great right out of the box!! i'll take it to the tailor for some minor alterations (a little too gap-y in the armpits for my taste & length needs adjusting) and i will still pay WAY less than i would had i gone to a bridal shop...and this dress is cuter than most of the stuff for plus sized gals at any bridal shop. not to mention, i thought the shawl would be waaaay too sheer for covering my arms--not so! it works perfectly! thanks kiyonna for impressing me beyond my expectations. i will totally be back for more!!
