    Not enough bust support, 9.24.2012

I am a C cup and this suit just did not have enough support. The 2X did not have a long enough torso for me (I do have a long torso), so I tried the 3X and the cup size jumped from about a B-C to about a DDD. If you have issues with torso length or bust support, order the Francesca instead. Other than the fit the suit is high quality and very cute.

This is a very pretty suit with retro glam. I would tell everyone to get one, however, it has one drawback - the bust is not supportive for larger busts like mine which is DDD. It really needs underwire or other strong support for the more buxom plus sizes. I'd agree with other posters that if you are similarly built to the model you will be fine in the bust. It's too bad, because it is a very cute suit and otherwise worth the cost.

Well made, but fit is very tight. I carry some weight in my stomach area (thank you twins!) and this is not flattering at all. The ruching seems to enhance rather than disguise this. |
Nice color, nice construction, awful style for plus size bustline, 7.12.2012

If you don't have good waistline definition and a small, high, upright bust (B or C cup at most) this suit isn't worth it. The suit itself is gorgeous. The "Nautical Navy" is a rich, deep, midnight blue. The fabric is opaque with firm control. Almost too firm. The shirring and the flirty little bottom ruffle offer nice coverage and a flattering shape. Unfortunately, the bodice offers zero support for the plus-size bustline. The halter styling and built-in bra actually minimizes the bust, coaxing the bust more to the sides of the body rather than lifting things up and accenting cleavage (something to draw eyes AWAY from fuller tummies, heavier hips, etc.) Seriously disappointing for the cost. Some underwires, padding, or even just a more flattering shape would make this suit a real winner. If your build matches the model on the website, it might work for you, but even she looks more flat-chested than in her other photos. |

Comfortable and looks very nice. This is my first Kiyonna swimsuit, but I don't see it as being my last. I was a bit nervous ordering the swimsuit online, but it was a positive experience. |

This swimsuit is absolutely gorgeous and extremely well made. I'm so bummed that it looked bad on me. It's very comfortable and when it comes to the fit, it felt wonderful. Longer for my height, so I didn't have to tug down at the leg or up at the bust when I tried it on. It is firm to wear without being uncomfortably tight. I wish I could keep it! Alas, I carry most of my weight in the belly area, the ruching smooths out at the belly really bringing more attention to it, making me feel very self-conscious about how I look. |
