I was very disappointed in the quality of this dress. I fell in love with it when I saw it on the Catherines website. I ordered it and was surprised to see that it was two pieces. The solid piece, under the sheer, was made of very cheap material. I have a Halloween nun costume made of that same material. From what I read, the dress ran a little big, so I got the smaller size because my measurements fall in-between. Even with Spanx, the dress fit a tad snug. The concept of the dress is very pretty and if made with better materials and as one piece, I believe it could be a beautiful dress. However, I was disappointed that this American made dress was made as cheaply as some of the things we buy from overseas. It is far too pricey for the quality. You can find much nicer quality dresses and much better prices at local retail stores and be able to try it on! I was also disappointed to see that a shipping label was not provided with the dress and I had to pay to return it. I am not sure I would order any of the Kiyonna products again.

The Daydream Maxi in Pink Print was my first purchase with Kiyonna. I'm a Mother-of-the-Groom and have been looking for an appropriate dress for a pink/black wedding. This pink print fit the bill on that note. I'm normally a size 34, but I checked the Sizing Chart and my measurements fell in the 5X column (size 30-32). I have an added problem on sizes because I’m 6’1”, so not only does my height affect the length of garments on me, but also things like the length of the sleeves (which is very important to cover the arm flab!). While I knew, and wasn’t concerned at all, that the dress would NOT be “maxi” (floor-length) on me, I could shorten it about 3” and have it fall to mid-calf. However, I did want/need the sleeves to cover my ENTIRE upper arm. So, I was very curious to see if the size 5X would ACTUALLY fit me. Well…it does!!! I’m so very pleased! The sleeve length is perfect too! I can’t believe that my dress hunt is finally over. I haven’t decided whether to shorten it a bit, yet. It falls to my ankles now. That decision will depend on the style of shoes I can find to match (another headache for me as I wear a 12WW!). If I can find a cute, flat, strappy sandal then I won’t even need to shorten the dress! Thanks so much Kiyonna.
