I bought this dress as a contender for a mother of the bride dress
since I find most things out there way too matronly. This certainly isn't matronly! The front is quite low for those of us who are on the busty side but not too much. The fabric is not too shiney as are some satins and is of a substantial weight without being heavy. Since it is lined it hangs beautifully and is very comfortable. Even if I decide not to wear this to my daughter's wedding, I'm keeping it anyway. It is a classic!
