This top is very flattering, and looks great in all the colors. It is similar in style to a black top (lighter, non-knit fabric) that I bought from Kiyonna a couple of years ago and I have worn that religiously. I hope they will create a lighter weight version of this top for spring, and in similar colors would be great!

I bought this because I live in a colder climate and needed a heavier top than Kiyonna usually produces. It has a flattering cowl neck, and an inner 'bra' type piece of fabric which covers the top of your bra so you aren't revealed (looks like you hav a top on underneath). This piece is sewn onto the sides of the top and helps also make the top look more fitted through the bodice.
On Style, I give it 5 stars.
However, because I have been wearing it in the winter and have had a scarf on underneath my coat, the sweater has pilled up right at the back where there is friction. This is typical of Kiyonna clothes which are not the very smooth fabric.
You will have to take extra care when wearing this to make sure you don't always rub a handbag or something else against it to avoid pilling. You should probably also use Woolite or some other delicates detergent and handwash or delicate cycle, light spinning (or roll up in a towel) in order to ensure this top stays looking new and not ratty.

The Kenzie sweater is super soft and I love wearing it. I have it in the purple and it is a rich, saturated purple, which I love. Pair with jeans to go out with friends or with trousers for work- very versatile piece. |

My latest order just arrived (thank you, Kiyonna Thanksgiving sale!!) and I LOVE this sweater. I crossed my fingers and ordered it in rust, and I don't regret it--I had worried that the color would be too orange, but it really is a warm, mellow shade of rust. It's absolutely beautiful, and fits great. The "cami" piece is actually a bandeau under the cowl neck, so it stays in place without scrunching, allowing the cowl to fall naturally. The material is sumptuous and fine, so it skims the body perfectly. Don't tell, but I just ordered it in purple, black, AND red!!
