My black short-sleeved bellini is the layering piece I had been looking for! I have a smallish waist but lower belly bulge, and the extended front edges have allowed me to wear some of my old favorite pants and skirts without an oversized, too-long coverup. It's been perfect for adding sleeve length when a shrug just doesn't work, and I've tied or pinned the front when I'm wearing it over a full bottom. I just picked up a 'shorty' bellini in white to wear over sundresses on vacation, and I'm awfully tempted by the new colors in the other versions!

The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that it's a little bit too short in the back, but not so much that I don't love to wear it. This is lightweight, looks great even at the end of the day, and it's casual enough to wear out to dinner with friends when paired with jeans, but sharp enough to wear to a business office workplace when paired with a blouse and skirt.
