great dress, maybe not for the petite, 11/23/2008

First off, I have this dress in the red jasmine print. The print is lovely, the fabric is great, the cut and the design of the dress is very flattering. However, I will have to get the dress altered because, at my height of 5'4, it is way too long. I would prefer to have the hem around my knees, and instead, it is at my lower calf. All in all, great dress, especially for those who have/want an hourglass shape.

I wore this dress (in Mademoiselle Print)for the first time today. It felt amazing, and I got quite a few admiring looks. I love the feel of the fabric. It felt satiny against my skin, and I had to stop myself from playing with the fabric that hung very flatteringly off my hips. I was unsure of whether the sleeve length would be long enough, as the picture of the Red Jasmine Print makes the sleeves look very short. Although the sleeves are a little shorter than a generally prefer, it covered all of the "problem areas" of my arms, and it looked wonderful.
