Expected a lot more from Spanx, 6.28.2012

My previous Spanx experience has been nothing, but happiness. I finally decided to splurge and get the full bodysuit. My other Spanx that are of a similar material are double layered and do a great job of firming and making me look my best. This bodysuit is a single layer of flimsy spandex (not nearly as firm a fabric as my previous purchases) that I would be afraid that it would lose its shape after one wearing. Although, I bought the correct size, it doesn't do nearly enough in the firming or shaping department (nothing). I thought about returning for a size smaller, but the material is so cheap and the workmanship not nearly as good as my older Spanx, that I don't think it would firm or shape anymore and could not handle the stress if I bought it smaller without pulling apart and losing its spandex properties. I'm very sad that Spanx is not the same quality I have trusted and appreciated in the past. Will be returning this item.
