I'm 5'8 and wore this dress to a black tie celebration where I had to sit at the head table. I had so many compliments about how regal I looked. I wore my hair up and large earrings and very high lace heels. You have to wear very high heels because the dress is very long, but I did fine walking with all the extra material. It felt so well made and I felt great wearing it, very classy and glam. Thank you for creating such a gown, it was perfect for me and our occasion! The only sad part is I don't have a chance anytime soon to wear it again!! I love, loved, loved it! I also have the similar dress in the short version and I have two of them! I bought the nude lining last year for a wedding and bought the black lining for a recent day event. I really like your dresses, they flatter my curves. |

I purchased this dress to wear to a New Year's Eve Gala my employer was sponsoring. I am so disappointed I will not be able to attend. This dress is too little and it looks cheap. My breasts are pouring out of it. If I had purchased this from a low end retailer I wouldn't be surprised, but I was shocked that a "Plus Size" retailer's clothes are not true to size. I wear a size 22 and my clothes fit me just fine. I have other gowns I purchased from Igigi that are beautifully made, look elegant, and fit well. I did not have them dry cleaned for this event because I thought I would have a new gown to wear and besides what diva wants to wear the same gown she wore last year or the year before? I decided I would give Kiyonna a try. That was a mistake I won't make again. Where I come from, $288.00 is a lot of money. Sorry. This is going back!

Love the dress, it was to long, but with the help of tailor, we found a way to hem it without losing the scalloped lace edge at the bottom (cut off and hemmed the underskirt and used the slip portion to create a ribbon at the bottome which was used to help hem the lace overskirt.) Looks like made that way as the material matches the tux cummerbund. Received so many compliments! |
